Thank you for your interest in the Doheny Days Music Festival!
Media professionals who would like to apply for credentials to Doheny Days Music Festival should read the guidelines below and complete the Press Application below. Please note, submitting an application is simply a request, and it may not be approved. All approved media representatives entering Doheny Days, agree to the general ticket policies festival guidelines. In some instances, approved members of the press may be asked to meet with Doheny Days staff prior to the festival. Please do not email us about the status of your application - you will be contacted if your application is approved.
You must complete the Press Application and submit your credentials no later than 12 Noon PST on August 20th of the current festival year. Requests will not be accepted after the deadline and only a limited number of credentials will be granted.
In order to be considered for press credentials, you must be on assignment with coverage secured. All media representatives must provide the name and contact information for their Editor or Supervisor. Limited credentials are available for freelance writers and photographers.
We do not award credentials to individuals who only want to cover a specific artist. If you are attending the festival as a media representative, you must cover the festival in its entirety. Proof of coverage must be submitted no later than August 20th. Please note, we do not arrange artist interviews.
Please note, a very limited number of Photo Passes are awarded. Photographers must be on assignment with coverage secured. Approved photographers must shoot the festival in its entirety (not just artists) and will be given a shot list to follow. High-res .JPG files with no watermarks must be submitted no later than 8 business days after the festival. Approved photographers on assignment must sign a photo release and submit it no later than August 25th. Under no circumstance may photographers sell photos taken during the festival. Approved photographers are granted a photo pass for newsworthy purposes only.
We will contact your Supervisor/Editor to confirm coverage and in some cases, may request an official letter. When completing your application please use a valid working email with your company domain name (i.e. Bob@radiostation.com).
We will not accept incomplete applications. The more details you provide, the more efficient the review process is. Leaving fields blank may affect your application and we ask that you're as thorough as possible. If you previously covered the Doheny Days Music Festival, please be sure to include links to coverage.
Acceptance & Notification
We reserve the right to decline any requests for credentials. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we will only notify you if your application is accepted. Notifications will be sent via email by July 15th of the current festival year. Not all approved press/media representatives will receive ‘press’ passes (i.e. you may only receive GA tickets). If your application is approved, you will be emailed check-in and on-site details. Please do not email us about the status of your application - you will be contacted if your application is approved. Doheny Days and Omega Events reserve the right to revoke your access at any time if you fail to follow festival guidelines and press protocol.
No video cameras or camera crews are permitted inside the festival. TV applications will only be reviewed if the request comes from a television station.
After you complete the approrpriate sections of the application, please scroll all the way down to the bottom of the form to hit the SUBMIT button. If you do not hit the SUBMIT button, your application will not be processed.
