    Jeramiah Red is Orange County’s raucous answer to southern rock and roll. Formed in 2008, the band has kicked up the dust of the local music scene with their dirty blues guitar, steel-drivin' harmonica and powerful vocals. Wes Dickson (vocals, acoustic guitar), Ian Cullen (lead guitar), Travis Ruiz (harmonica, percussion), Tim Miller (bass) and Matt Pleskacz (drums) have played together in different incarnations throughout the years. After shedding the skins of their previous bands, Jeramiah Red was formed and they ventured into a new sound influenced by acts like The Raconteurs, The Black Keys, and Bob Dylan. Percussionist Travis Ruiz does all the album and poster art for the band.

    Jeramiah Red released their EP, Ghost Tracks From the Getty EP in December and was nominated for "Best Album" in the Orange County Music Awards, up against Social Distortion, Young The Giant and Thrice. The album captures Jeramiah Red's gritty blues rock, which ranges from rowdy ("Can't Help Myself") to catchy ("My Baby"). It was recorded at ArtiSans Label in Fullerton and produced by Barrett Slagle (Great Glass Elevator) and engineered by Kyle Griffin.

The nominations include: Best Album ("Ghost Tracks from the Getty"), Best Song ("Can't Help Myself"), Best Rock, Best Americana, and winners in Best New Artist, and Best Blues.
